Green Man, The

Synopsis
Kingsley Amis wry novel was filmed as a BBC mini series in 1990 and starred Albert Finney in a classic ghost story for adults based in a haunted inn. He plays Maurice Allington, an alchoholic, sexual promiscuous and unappealing character who owns the inn called The Green Man. He frightens and regales his guests, when he’s not trying to seduce them, with tales of ghosts and spirits haunting his hotel. The fun begins when he and they realise the haunts are real and malevolent.
