Synopsis
BBC adaptation of Charlotte Bronte’s Jane Eyre, with Ruth Wilson as the heroine. The dramatisation races through the earlier passages of the novel such as Jane’s miserable childhood, but there is a strong focus on the relationship between Jane and Tony Stephens’ Mr Rochester. The adaptation uses Derbyshire locations and landscapes to great effect,
