Shakespeare in Ballet

Synopsis
Radio documentary introduced by Carl Wildman. Robert Helpmann talks to Gordon Gow about his new production of Hamlet, first created and performed in 1943 and now with Rudolf Nureyev in the title role. Kenneth MacMillan talks to Gow about his work Images of Love (a ballet drawn from quotations from Shakespeare) and about choreography in general. Finally Nureyev talks about his characterisation of Hamlet, his acquaintance with Shakespeare, his training with the Kirov, and working with British choreographers.
