Viva Zapatero!

Synopsis
Sabina Guzzanti’s documentary deals with her own ill-fated television show, RAIot, which aired on RAI, the Italian public television service. The show featured comedy sketches in which Guzzanti, a brilliant clown, mimic, and physical comedienne, skewered the current Italian administration, and Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi in particular.

When her show was cancelled after Berlusconi’s media corporation filed a 20-million-euro lawsuit, Guzzanti decided to expose the seedy underbelly of Berlusconi’s right-wing regime in this viciously funny documentary.
