Purcell’s opera based on Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream. The Orchestra and Chorus of the English National Opera are conducted by Nicolas Kok. Directed for stage by David Poutney, choreographed and staged by Quinny Sacks, and directed for television by Barrie Gavin. Yvonne Kenny is Titania and Thomas Randle is Oberon.
