What’s This Channel 4?

Synopsis
Starting with a ‘typical’ day at Channel 4, this series of three 25-minute programmes explores the way in which Channel 4 as a media institution works. The first programme (24 HOURS) takes the viewer through a day at the Channel while the second programme (RUN UP) looks at the scheduling, commissioning and budgeting processes that resulted in the first programme. The third programme (CONSEQUENCES) looks at the outcome of the ‘typical day’ and at the broader media environment in which Channel 4 has to survive.
