Synopsis
CALLEVA documents Reading University’s excavation of Roman Silchester. It features various interviewees including the Field School Director, Amanda Clarke. The film contains video diary entries by Marjolein Mussellwhite as she spends a week excavating this spectacular Romano-British town. Regularly screened inside Andover Museum of the Iron Age and the Willis Museum, Basingstoke (both in the county of Hampshire, UK). Made with the participation of the
University of Reading.
