Synopsis: An analysis of Nicolas Poussin’s four paintings ‘The Four Seasons’ painted during his last years in Rome. They are a synthesis of all the skillful elements in the painter’s late style but exhibit the symptoms of age and ailment in the trembling and minute strokes. Made in 2003.
