EspaÑa - Campo y Ciudad

Synopsis
Originally made as part of a schools geography course. The material has been re-edited to provide two 20-minute programmes for Spanish language teaching covering topics that give an insight into contemporary Spain. The first programme focuses on the new Guggenheim Museum of Modern Art, the cleaning up of the river Nervion and the state-of-the-art public transport system. The second programme focuses on the human misery behind the production of fruit and vegetables in Almeria where immigrants from Morocco as young as twelve are risking their lives every day to work in what they see as a promised land.
