Michael Nyman’s Man with a Movie Camera

Synopsis
A montage of Moscow life showing the people of the city at work and at play, and the machines that keep the city going. Dziga Vertov used all the cinematic techniques at his disposal - dissolves, split screen, slow motion and freeze frames. This version features a musical score by Michael Nyman, which he adapted from the apocalyptic zappings of the soundtrack he wrote for a Japanese video game, Enemy Zero.
