Hampton Court: A Palace Preserved

Synopsis
Following the 1986 fire that destroyed a wing of the royal palace of Hampton Court, modern architecture and engineering techniques, combined with individual craftmanship have been employed in the restoration. The work has also provided opportunities for archaeologists to investigate 18th-century building techniques and materials.
