Glass Blowing

Synopsis

Shows a glass blower making an ornate wine glass from lead crystal that has been heated to 1200 degrees Celsius. He demonstrates the skills and tools required to produce a high-quality product. The process is compared to the mass production of perfume bottles, where the craftsmen have been replace by machines using an automated procedure.
