Synopsis: Sean Conroy, a 21-year-old cystic fibrosis sufferer, volunteered to be a guinea pig for the first British trial of a new gene therapy to affect the incurable lung disease. Looks at research teams in London and New York as each tries a radically different genetic technique on their cystic fibrosis patients.
