Facing Chronic Illness and Death when the Patient is a Child

Synopsis
When a life-threatening disorder is diagnosed in a child, how can we help the child, his family and his carers to cope with their feelings? Knowledge of child development as well as understanding of how children think is vital in helping the child come to terms with the situation. The video looks at the emotive and difficult issues in order to bring greater understanding in the face of progressive illness.
