Exodus

Synopsis
Follows the progress of the world’s first Environmental Impact Assessment of the refugee crisis in Tanzania, where the second largest city appeared out of nothing as half a million Rwandan refugees set up home at Benaco. An ever-widening circle of devastated land has since grown further and further around the camp. Aid agencies are forced to look further ahead than the immediate crisis. Suggests that there is a need for change in the approach to the growing problem of refugees.
