- Aims to introduce to business and industrial audiences the scope for, and advantages of, links with universities. Many industrialists may be unaware of the wide range of links available. They need to be convinced that universities offer a cost-effective way of helping them to develop new ideas and to keep ahead of the competition. Universities offer all companies, whatever their size, the opportunity to use first-class research expertise and facilities without tying up capital in specialist staff and equipment. There is clear evidence that both sides are gearing themselves up to take full advantage of this joint approach.
