Synopsis
A modern ballet created by Roland Petit illustrating eight contemporary themes - machine, publicity, power, drugs, love, war, count-down, violence - with the help of painters Martial Raysse and Niki de St Phalle, sculptor Jean Tinguely, musician Marius Constant and writer Jean Gau. The first part of the film is concerned with Petit and his fellow artistes coming together to conceive the project, and their parts in it.
