Dissectable Human, The
- Synopsis
- An interactive 3-D volume-rendered, anatomical atlas of the human body. Using computer visualisation technologies and actual medical imaging data derived from the National Library of Medicine’s Visible Human Project, it features photorealistic renderings of the skeletal, muscular, cardiovascular, nervous, digestive, respiratory, endocrine, urinary, reproductive and lymphatic systems. Users can ‘peel away’ organs to view what lies below, view structures from various 3-D perspectives, enhance particular structures, and repeatedly dissect the same organ or body part.
