Disgusted Binchester

Synopsis
An animated film giving a historical perspective on recent developments in race relations. The story concerns ‘Disgusted’, who writes to a newspaper in protest against moves to outlaw racial discrimination in Britain. He is presented as the personification of all those law-abiding individuals who oppose reforms. His forebears are seen inveighing against the introduction of the Poor Law, the formation of the police, and the abolition of the slave trade. Eventually mollified when shown that the Race Relations Act can protect not only others, but also Disgusted himself, from discrimination, he is left in full cry against equal pay for women.
