Synopsis

A survey of the design and landscaping of new towns in Britain, showing what has been achieved at Stevenage and Crawley and in the development of the city centres of Birmingham, Coventry, Cumbernauld and Plymouth. Also deals with grass maintenance machinery as it influences design and layout of range of grass areas from small public gardens and housing estate verges to golf courses, motorways and sportsfields.
