Dennis Potter - In Person

Synopsis
Two programmes: In the first, shortly before his death from cancer, dramatist Dennis Potter was interviewed by Melvyn Bragg for Channel Four’s ‘Without Walls’ slot in what was to be his last television appearance. Potter talks about work, politics, his fears for the future of both television and British society, and his memories of a Forest of Dean childhood. The second film is the lecture ‘Occupying Powers’, which he delivered as the 1993 James Taggert Memorial Lecture in Edinburgh.
