- Synopsis
- Explores the various deburring processes, arrnaging them into three categories: mechanical, thermal and electro-chemical. The mechanical section shows mechanised cutting machines and various mass finishing processes such as vibratory finishing, barrel/rotary tumble, centrifugal disk finishing, centrifugal barrel finishing and spindle finishing. Discusses some of the factors that affect the aggressiveness of power brushing, the most common types of abrasives used in bonded abrasive finishing, and the advantages and disadvantages of manual deburring. The thermal and electro-chemical deburring sections also show lengthy demonstrations of the processes.
