Colour of the Moment, The

Synopsis
Discusses Claude Monet’s ‘Waterlilies’ in terms of the painting itself, the painter, and a palette of colour: pigment, composition and light effects. In his garden at Giverny, Monet created a gigantic natural canvas to research his landscape paintings. This film analyses the 54 versions of the waterlily paintings made between 1985 and 1926.
