- Synopsis
- Discusses the potential of biomass as a renewable energy source. In India and Kenya looks at successful experiences in using animal waste to produce biogas for cooking and lighting from both technical and economic perspectives. Describes village-based experiences in lesser-known biomass technologies such as wood gas plants and the production of biogas from foliage in a leaf biogas digestion.
