Charlotte BrontË Unmasked
- Synopsis
- Charlotte Brontë was thought to have died unphotographed, but in recent years, photographs allegedly of her have apeared. Her biographer, Dr Juliet Barker, claims that the new image of a formidable woman is far removed from the romantic figure of the biographies. The programme goes in search of the real woman behind the disputed image.
