Charlotte BrontË Unmasked

Synopsis
Charlotte Brontë was thought to have died unphotographed, but in recent years, photographs allegedly of her have apeared. Her biographer, Dr Juliet Barker, claims that the new image of a formidable woman is far removed from the romantic figure of the biographies. The programme goes in search of the real woman behind the disputed image.
