Synopsis
Looks at the work of Dr Cesar Milstein, who discovered how to grow antibodies outside the human body. Monoclonal antibodies are being used to help reduce the risk of mismatched bone marrow transplants and, attached to magnetic beads, are being used to pick cancer cells out of children’s bone marrow.
