Captions for Slide and Video

Synopsis

Aims to show the basic method of producing word captions for photography and video. Shows the technician making a simple word caption using freehand felt pen, stencil and pen, typewriter magnetic board, ‘menu’ board and dry transfer lettering. Some advice is given on card size, margins and layout as well as the use of gel overlay existing backgrounds.
