Synopsis

A recently restored and tinted full-length version of the silent film set in the Middle Ages, telling the story of a murderous sleepwalker who prowls the streets late at night in search of victims and is finally revealed to be the director of a lunatic asylum; but the whole story is only the dream of a madman. The DVD also includes an audio commentary, musical score, stills, advertising and an extract from a Robert Wiene short GENUINE - A VAMPIRE’S TALE.
