- This issue of the post-liberation newsreel released in February 1945 shows 1) students at the Ecole de Hautes Etudes Commerciales in Paris donating blood for wounded soldiers; 2) Tollet, president of the Parisian Committee of Liberation, addressing students in the Place de l’Hotel de Ville; 3) discovery of frozen corpses of 34 Belgians murdered by the Germans at Bande; 4) Le Touquet, the most mined town in France, being cleared of teller mines and booby traps; 5) officers of the Normandie-Hieman Squadron pause in Algiers before attending a reception at the Inter-Allied Centre in Paris. Tillon and General Catroux are present; 6) Grumman Avengers and Hellcats take off from a USN aircraft carrier to bomb Manila; 7) Allied advance on the Western Front.
