- Synopsis
- A considerably edited programme showing the preparation of an anaesthetised dog for measurement of arterial blood pressure, heart rate, aortic blood flow, left ventricular contractility. Responses to noradrenaline, adrenaline, isoprenaline and adenosine are illustrated both before and after injection of phentolamine and propranolol. Finally, the cardiovascular effects of increasing doses of digitalis are shown.
