Breaking the Silence
- Synopsis
- Christine Harding, who went totally deaf two years earlier at age 40, may be one of the the few people in Britain to benefit from a cochlear implant, which may restore her hearing to some degree. The programme follows her as she learned to come to terms with going deaf and having the implant fitted, and the possibility that the implant would not help.
