Breaching the Silence

Synopsis
Shows the initial stages of therapy with a family in which Anne, aged 18, has recently divulged that her step-father has been sexually abusing her. The step-father is no longer in the family. Shows extracts from the first two family interviews and from a subsequent individual interview with Anne. It is designed to increase awareness of central issues in work with families in which child abuse has occurred.
