Wearing the Green

Synopsis

Portrays a number of prisoners and ex-prisoners of the New York state prison system. Some of them have organised to reform the prison system, including Eddie Ellis, a former ‘Black Panther’ imprisoned for 25 years for a crime he did not commit. Also shows New York City narcotics detectives at work in one of New York’s harshest inner-city neighbourhoods.
