Synopsis: Samuel Beckett’s vision of his famous play on video in English and French versions. Made before his death in 1989, in collaboration with Walter Asmus, Jean-Pierre Cottet, John Fuegi, and Mitchell Lifton; with PBS, WGBH, FR3, La SEPT, The Visual Press, Société Française de Production, Centre National de la Cinématographie, & Radiotelevisio Portuguesa-EP. The English version is performed by members of the San Quentin Drama Workshop, Beckett’s chosen interpreters of his work in English. En attendant Godot features Roman Polanski as Lucky.
