Valley of Life or Death, The

Synopsis
Investigates the belief that circumcision can protect men from HIV, and asks whether it is tribal superstition or genuine scientific hope. Many in Africa are being led seek backstreet circumcisions in a desperate attempt to avoid the infection. Controversially, it does appear that circumcision could help to control the Aids epidemic in Africa.
