Synopsis
Shows the widespread suffering due to endemic disease, using as examples the tropical diseases malaria, filariasis and trachoma. The sources of the diseases and the measures used to eliminate them, both locally and internationally. Clinical details are limited but the general social and administrative problems are well documented.
