Synopsis
A drama portraying a British volunteer’s experience of grassroots development work. It asks important qauestions about the role of agencies and fieldworkers in areas of political conflict. Set in the Dominican Republic where very poor migrant workers cut the sugar cane, the laywer Viv gets dangeously involved with the people and the issues.
