Synopsis
A quarterly alternative video magazine, published in response to a growing frustration with the mainstream. All the material was shot on domestic camcorders, mostly by activists who are using the media to support their campaigns.
1 (10 min): A roundup of stories that television fails to cover.
2 (16 min): Shows how the new Public Order and Criminal Justice Bill will affect the activities of protesters, ravers, travellers and squatters.
3 (3 min): Making a living by retrieving coins out of Oxford’s drains.
4 (6 min): A light-hearted look at the media coverage of direct action.
5 (7 min): A local environment group puts councillor Charles Shouler on the spot, holding him personably responsible for preventing Oxford from having a car-free city centre.
6 (15, 20 min): Charts the progress of the campaign to stop the M11 link road.
