Troubled Water

Synopsis
Water, in the right amount, of the right quality, at the right place, at the right time, is essential to life all over the earth. Floods, droughts, salination and pollution, along with political claims, threaten a comprehensive water management. This film stresses the need for an integrated approach in managing water resources. International co-operation will soon be needed to deal with world-wide water management problems. By looking back to a water management gone sour, the urgency to conserve the global water supply as a source of life is made more real, and it is still not too late to get things right.
