- The films show three therapists, each using his own approach to group work with the same newly formed group of people. Within the same day, each therapist worked for about and hour and a half and film shows about half that time.
1: Dr Everett Shostrom discusses his actualising therapy as presented in his book ‘Actualizing Therapy’ and works with the group.
2: Dr Albert Ellis demonstrates his techniques of rational-emotive therapy as presented in his book ‘Reason and Emotion in Psychotherapy’.
