- Synopsis
- Shows community paediatricians interviewing older primary school children. Extracts of the interviews are used to introduce the finer aspects of child and family interviewing. Looks at the skills of intervieweing: the form of question, reflecting back information, reinforcement and testing of answers. Notes the importance of messages of body language. Helps the viewer to be more readily able to engage a child and family and to feel more confident about obtaining information from them.
