Star Clusters
- Synopsis
- Proper motion of the Pleiades and the Hyades is shown, and the convergence of the Hyades cluster is clearly apparent. Open clusters are contrasted in structure and distribution with globular clusters. A computer-generated model of a globular cluster is presented, and the three-dimensional structure is illustrated by first rotating the cluster and then moving through it.
