Betrayal of Trust
- Synopsis
- In 1995 a 23-year-old psychiatric patient took a live-in job looking after two young children in Abingdon, Oxfordshire. Six months later he set fire to the house, killing the children and their mother. The programme examines the issues of incompetence and poor communication between doctors and social workers and their failure to protect both the victims and the young man from himself.
