Synopsis
Every plant uses solvents even if just for cleaning or removing grease. A solvent may be a carcinogen, a toxic, a corrosive, an irritant, a sensitiser, or affect target organs. It may also cause a fire or an explosion. Concentrates on the health and safety precautions to take when working with solvents.
