Synopsis
Looks at illnesses resulted from smoking tobacco. Asks whether lung deterioration can be detected at an early stage and how much of the recent increase in heart disease is due to cgarette smoking. Looks at the role of carbon monoxide in heart disease, its effects on blood supply. Discusses the effects of mothers’ smoking during prenancy and the dangers of passive smoking.
