Synopsis

A video training package based on actual experiences, designed to trigger discussion about hand safety in the workplace and the home. Most series hand injuries are preventable and all accidents must be taken seriously. In four sections: the scope of the problem and the legal responsibilities of employers and employees; the anatomy and complexity of the hand, illustrated using graphics; a case study featuring Dr Richard Ladd’s hand injury; general safety recommendations and what to do in the event of an accident.
