Synopsis
Examines the psychology and biology of ‘male pattern baldness’ including the molecular biology which causes some men to become bald. Also looks at the genetics of baldness, why Caucasians are prone to it when other races are relatively immune, the different reactions of men to the condition, how baldness is perceived by others, and at the drug minoxidil which is supposed to cure it. Shows the convention of the Bald Headed Men of America and includes interviews with Niel Innes, Claire Rayner, Duncan Goodhew, Richard O’Brien and Willard Scott.
