- Synopsis
- A film compiled from extracts of television programmes in the series SEE IT NOW, which was presented on CBS Television by Edward R Murrow. The film is presented by speakers from Freedom House, an organisation dedicated to anti-communism, but the message of the film is that the cause of anti-communism is not served by people using the methods of Senator Joseph McCarthy. Extracts are shown of both Ed Murrow and Joseph McCarthy defending their beliefs and methods. The sound quality of the telerecording is poor.
