Synopsis
The life and work of Sergei Eisenstein (1898-1948), the Russian film director. Includes rare material from archives around the world and previously unknown drawings and sketches from the Eisenstein Museum in Moscow together with a commentary taken from his memoirs. Contains extracts from all his films, including the very first, GLUMOV’S DIARY, together with the only film record of his speaking in English, in a wartime speech.
