Synopsis
With the aim of linking issues in science, technology, society and the environment, looks at cybernetics, the use of mechanical and electrical systems to replace humans. A relatively new development, dependent on the comupter chip that allows miniaturisation of power and control functions, it has allows many industries to replace some workers with robots, and other workers have had to learn to supervise robots. In furure workers will increasing need to learn what robots cannot do.
